Osvaldo Rios is in Puerto Rico where we discussed a lot of things about his plans and heard that he is very satisfied. He said, “The calm has arrived after the storm.” Peace has arrived for Osvaldo Rios at the same time as a new challenge.
On Monday, we saw him in La Carretera (National Route) which was made by Vicente Castro and Luis Ramos. In this new appearance his abilities were pulled in the best direction so that he could play the part of a “Terrible Man” for which he is punished in the end. I was quite positively surprised by Lourdes Robles and I told him that as well.
“Vicente Castro’s work was to encourage us to display our best ability. He helped us a lot and he gained things that he wants to see on the screen,” said Rios.

As I have mentioned many times in the past, Televisa’s agents wanted him to play different types of TV drama stars. However, Telemundo made a three year contract before them but it shouldn’t be misunderstood that somebody insignificant signed the contract. Yes, it was no less than NBC Telemundo’s President, Don Brown.
What was written in the contract? To play the main character in three TV dramas and appear in six episodes of Decisiones VIP (VIP Decision). The first TV drama is the new version of La Viuda de Blanco (Blanco’s Widow) that he acted in when he was in Columbia.

He is going to act with Itati Cantoral and Francisco Gattorno. Oh, yes, I watched the promotion picture of this long melodrama and Osvaldo was much better looking than the Cubans.
In the original version of the melodrama aired by Telemundo International, Osvaldo appeared with Yolandita Monge, but when it was aired on this channel, no one knew the ending of this story. We had to wait until Telemundo gave the announcement about the new version.

Ahhh! But the good thing about the new career of Puerto Rican Rios is that it doesn’t end. “With the contract with NC Telemundo, and my company, Riverside Group, has an opportunity to make soap operas and films. To start with the work that will be announced next is the rehearsal of 'El beso de la mujer arana’ (The Kiss of Spider Woman),” Rios stressed.

He said that in fact one Puerto Rican Production company had made an offer to join in the next production with him but unfortunately there was another shooting for a drama with a local television so he was unable to stay in Puerto Rico.
At one of the AM media offices, everything was like “a brave ant.” I was taught that if one of the bosses gets involved in something complicated and gets frustrated and becomes angry, it will be a disaster. A lot of people learned the boss’s habits so we were looking for that to happen.

This is not a lie; I have confirmed that the model, Angel Vierra is not running away from the rehearsal for the musical “A Chorus Line.” Vierra’s PR person says he is in Argentina and Mexico playing the main character there. Yes, hello! I didn’t realize he had the ability of being in two difference places at the same time!

What is more, the concert for “The artists who are always looking for dreams” was held a few weeks ago for the “Anthony ‘Junior’ Soto” foundation and a tropical genre of a lot of artists united in one group and they were able to collect $50,000 to support new talent in the communication and music field. Congratulations! We would like them to continue these activities to encourage our young people.
