Having signed a contract with Telemundo, Osvaldo Rios is going to make a cameo appearance in “Tierra de Pasiones” as Francisco Gattorno has been taken out of the cast of the show. It is said that executive officers of Telemundo wanted to have a more masculine actor. Because the producer of Telemundo has decided that both Gattorno and Saul Lisazo, a main character of the drama, were not suited for co-stars with Gabi Spanic. First they approached Eduardo Yanez as to his interest, however, he declined the offer as he was under contract with Televisa. So, the offer is made to Osvaldo.

After participating in “Tierra de Pasiones”, Rios will join Gattorno in Colombia and start to shoot
“Viuda de Blanco, La”, in which they will play brothers.


Have you signed a contract with Telemundo, Osvaldo?
“Yes. I’m participating in “Viuda de Blanco, La” which is starting to shoot soon.
That is the Colombian drama in which I played a main role a few years ago and it became a big hit.”

You are also going to appear in “Tierra de Pasiones”, aren’t you?
“I was asked to make a cameo appearance in it.”

Gattorno has been taken out of the cast of the drama. Are you going to play the main male role of the story?
“I heard that my role would be as important as the main character.”

Did you know that Saul Lisazo had a problem with Telemundo?
“I’m trying not to be involved in those things as much as possible.
That’s because I respect my colleagues. I’ve never created friction with others.”
