 Puerto Rican actor Osvaldo Rios slyly admits that a compelling scene in a soap opera (telenovela) entitled Todo o nada (All or Nothing), in which he will star opposite Venezuelan actress Ruddy Rodriguez, is highly suggestive given that his character, named Rodrigo, will appear nude.
”It was a really artistic and finely crafted nude scene. Because I’m a fisherman, I’m bathing at the beach by myself. What makes this scene dramatic is that my being nude was a figurative way of showing that I had become psychologically stripped. In other words, this takes place when my character finds out that his real name isn’t Rodrigo but Salvador.” He also explained that the first time he undressed for a telenovela was for a scene in La viuda de Blanco (Blanco’s Widow) in which he rode a horse while wearing no clothing.
The filming of this production began two weeks ago and tells the story of a man and a woman falling in love with each other. They realize that they may be siblings and are at a loss. Rios, who also sings, cooperated by attempting to portray the ordeals suffered by a fisherman looking to work and support his family. In addition, he is also in touch through this role with the theme of the U.S. Navy in Vieques. Venezuelan Ruddy Rodriguez, who is teaming up with Osvaldo Rios for the second time in a co-starring role as a marine biologist, indicated that working with him is easy. “I know him well. He’s a good friend and we love each other. Just as with Daniel Lugo, he is quite a special person among all those whom I’ve met in my life. I like him and I respect him as a professional.” This production was originally written by Alberto Valera and produced by Adolfo Lopez and Paul Labadie, both from Cine Fund. The cast consists of twenty-two Puerto Rican actors and four Venezuelan actors.
 Several actors participating in this drama are also managed by a foreign production company called Mountain High. They are Daniel Lugo, Danny Rivera (who plays a musician), Camille Carrion, Marilyn Pupo, Ofelia D’ Acosta, Joffre Perez, Maricarmen Aviles, Jimmy Navarro, Olga Sesto, and Alexandra Malagon. The Venezuelan actors are Ruddy Rodriguez, Martin Lantigua, Carlos Matta, and Henry Zakka. Famous Puerto Rican actor Daniel Lugo remarked, “It is an honor to be able to work on this production together with Tony Rodriguez, who is now directing this telenovela.”
Rios will also sing a number of songs for this drama. Ito Serrano, Giovanni Hidalgo, Perico Ortiz y Papo Lucca were among many top-rated musicians who came together to help provide the music for this production. Veteran Venezuelan actor Martin Lantigua plays a highly ambitious, cruel character who would do anything to accomplish his aims. While filming for this drama, which spans 120 episodes, is scheduled to wrap up in December, it is still not known at this time what channel will be televising it.
